Raquel Matos, CEDH's researcher and coordinator of the Portuguese team of the PROMISE project, participated in the 18th Annual Conference of the European Society of Criminology, which ran from August 29 to September 1, 2018 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The oral communication "From stigmatization and conflict to social participation: Opportunities and challenges for Portuguese youth", by Matos, R., Martins, F., Carneiro, A., Campos, L., Ribeiro, L., & Negrão, M., was presented at the conference, delivering some of the results obtained in the ethnographic case study Risk - young people with pathways of psychosocial risk and deviant behavior, carried out by the Portuguese.
